1.0.0beta

Beta release of v1.0.0. Minor bugs may be present (especially with hardware implementations that aren't in use at UC Davis), but the main functionality is in place and has been used successfully for about a year.

Goals for 1.0.0 release:

- Fix minor UI issues with experiment creation
- Add ability to place overlays (old experiments, catalog files) on main FT plot
- Complete user guide documentation
- Develop python module for reading in data files

1.0.0alpha

Alpha release of version 1.0.0 for testing. This release features new hardware settings editors, new data formats, decreased memory usage, and more efficient performance. Much of the core code has been refactored to improve maintainability and extensibility.

0.9

Please note that version 1.0 may introduce backwards-incompatible changes-- that is, you may not be able to view data from the 0.x series with a version 1.x Blackchirp program. The new Python module in 1.x will retain legacy scripts for working with these files, though, and you can always compile a 0.x version without hardware to act as a data browser.
