The ESPNN is a python-based deep neural network that allows the user to predict the electronic stopping power cross-section for any ion and target combination for a wide range of incident energies. In this first release, we have only considered training data with mono-atomic targets, i.e., targets with one atomic species. Moreover, the deep neural network was trained with many tens of thousands of curated data points from the 2020 version of the [IAEA database](https://www-nds.iaea.org/stopping/).
