This release is an update of the original Flask-Statistics module. The original maintainer appears to have stopped development and maintenance.
The files have been updated to enable this to work with the most recent python packages. A few imports needed to be changed, and the build system was updated to use the recommend method see in https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/tutorials/packaging-projects/#choosing-build-backend.
No other changes have been made. This release is strictly making this work with the latest version of flask (3.0.3 at the time of this writing) and flask-sqlalchemy (3.1.1).
