We've moved away from MAL-api as our information provider this release due to MAL seemingly be hostile to its very existence. Hopefully we won't run into the same trouble with AnimeNewsNetwork's API.
There are still a lot of rough edges both in the code base and the user experience, but those aspects are what we'll be focusing on in the next release "Futa Miracle" which will be coming soon™.
