This release is the first official (alpha) release of the Kamaelia refresh project.
It fundamentally brings a large number of things up to date relative to the modern python ecosystem.
As an indicator of what is and is not functioning, take a look in the examples directory. Examples known not to work for any reason are currently "disabled" by having their filename and/or directoryname prefixed with an underscore. Decisions will be taken whether to keep, remove, etc these examples going forward.
This is NOT production ready, but it's ready for people to explore and provide feedback on.
