This is the first release of `pgdtools`, a set of python tools that allows interacting with the presolar grain database. It comes with nice features to automatically download the presolar grain database and store it locally on your computer. From there on, it allows you to get the data, filter it, and retrieve individual grain information.
For details, please see the [documentation](https://pgdtools.readthedocs.io)
*Note:* `pgdtools` is still constantly being updated. While we hope to not introduce breaking changes right away, they might still happen (and will be documented in the release notes). Please also let us know (a) if something doesn't work and (b) what you would to see as additional functionality.
