2.4.1

Prepare for PyPi usage. Gives users the ability to install Xanthos using:

pip install xanthos

2.4.0

Remove GitLFS and Travis-CI functionality.

Also:
- set up new data download protocol for example data
- set up new convenience wrapper to run the model
- update required Python version to >=3.6
- update README with new install, data download, and run protocol

2.3.1

- Fix extremely low channel flow outputs
- Fix bug that caused drought statistics to be discarded before outputting
- Fix missing cell values in example temperature input file
- Support for Python 2 no longer actively maintained

2.2.0

- New PET option for the Thornthwaite method
- New _abcd_ runoff model option that excludes snowmelt
- Expected outputs now included in examples
- Performance improvements for the _abcd_ model
- Now Python 2 and 3 compatable
- Fix logger level outputs
- Other modular and performance improvements

2.1.0

Xanthos 2 is now set as a framework where core components of the model (PET, runoff, and river routing) can be interchanged or extended without having to start from scratch allowing researchers to quickly integrate and test their new modules and configurations.

Major advancements for Xanthos 2 were also achieved by creating a more robust default configuration for the model that is now available to the scientific community. These advancements include the addition of: the Penman-Monteith PET module to capture the impacts of evolving land cover, the ABCD water balance module to account for groundwater recharge and discharge in runoff projections, improved water velocity considerations for the Modified River Transport Model (MRTM) routing module, a built-in differential evolution optimization module to calibrate ABCD parameters to modeled global runoff, and hydropower production assessment and potential capacity modules.

Xanthos v2.1.0 now includes the Hargreaves-Samani PET core component option.

2.0.0

Major advancements for Xanthos 2.0 were also achieved by creating a more robust default configuration for the model that is now available to the scientific community.
