An authentication flaw (CWE-287) has been discovered in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP 3 and openSUSE Tumbleweed. This vulnerability allows local attackers to run arbitrary code through salt without requiring valid credentials. Affected are SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP 3 salt versions before 3002.2-3 and openSUSE Tumbleweed salt version 3002.2-2.1 and previous versions.
