Advisory

DataHub under 0.8.45 frontend, acting as a proxy, is found to have a vulnerability where it doesn't properly construct URLs when forwarding data to the DataHub Metadata Store (GMS), potentially allowing external users to reroute requests from the DataHub Frontend to any host. This could enable attackers to reroute a request from the frontend proxy to any other server and return the result. The vulnerability was discovered and reported by the GitHub Security lab and is tracked as GHSL-2022-076.
