This change was needed for making Blinka PyPortal completely backwards compatible.

To use in CircuitPython, simply install the [Adafruit CircuitPython bundle](https://circuitpython.org/libraries).

To use in CPython, `pip3 install adafruit-circuitpython-portalbase`.
