🚀 byro is back!
Under a new maintainer, byro is back. Support from contributors is still very much wanted and needed.
To simplify the development process for everyone, we have made some adjustments:
🎉 New version scheme
We are now using CalVer as our version scheme.
Our new version is v2023.1.0, which means it is the first version in 2023 for which no patches have been released yet.
🎉 New CI/CD pipeline
With each new release, a PyPi package and Docker images are now automatically built and uploaded to PyPi and the GitHub Docker Registry respectively.
In addition, Docker images will continue to be built for the main branch.
🛠Breaking Changes
Due to the adjustments, the tag _latest_ or a specific version such as _v2023.1.0_ should be used instead of the development branch _main_ when using Docker for productive environments.
