Highlights of this release:
- Updated unit models for hydrogen turbine, PEM electrolyzer, electrical splitter
- Added a “simple hydrogen tank” model which tracks mass balance in linear form, but not enthalpy balance.
- Updated the flowsheet model for the nuclear case study with the updated unit models
- Added four models for the conceptual design and operation optimization of an energy-integrated ultra-supercritical thermal power generator
- Updated IDAES verison
- Adding RTS-GMLC dependency
- Update RE flowsheet models
- Added script for running RE double loop
- Added utilities for post-processing Double loop results files
- Added nine Jupyter notebooks to illustrate:
1. Modeling and analysis of an ultra-supercritical thermal power generator
2. Conceptual design of an ultra-supercritical generator integrated with an energy storage system using Generalized Disjunctive Programming (GDP)
3. Modeling and analysis of the energy-integrated ultra-supercritical generator obtained from the GDP formulation
4. Market analysis with a pricetaker assumption using the integrated ultra-supercritical generator model
5. Double loop analysis with ultra-supercritical generator
6. Conceptual design of a low temperature electrolysis unit integrated with a base-load nuclear power plant
7. Use of IDEAS grid integration tools simulation of nuclear-based IES with the double-loop workflow
8. Conceptual design of wind, battery, and hyrdogen IES
9. Use of IDEAS grid integration tools simulation of renewables-based IES with the double-loop workflow
