1.1.1

This is a maintenance release to synchronize the GitHub source tag with the package distributed on PyPI.

Changes:

* Corrects a versioning discrepancy where the previous GitHub release (v1.0.1) included commits that were not present in the PyPI build.

* Checks have been added to some of the tests to ensure CuPy installation where appropriate

* Some changes to the documentation relative to CuPy installation.

*Note: If you installed v1.1.0 via pip, please upgrade to v1.1.1 to ensure your source code matches the installed package.*
