Finally, an official GitHub release for FinMesh!
While FinMesh absolutely remains a work-in-progress, the feature set available is satisfactory for most basic applications and additional features can be considered major additions to the existing release. The upcoming release of FinMesh 2.0 is imminent, and is awaiting further feature adds and testing.
The Github version shall always equal the PyPi version, and in creating synchronous releases, it will be easier for users to check if their version is out-of-date. Additionally, having official releases brings attention to new users that the repo is being updated regularly, and that major additions are likely in the forecast.
