4.2.0

Point Spread Function (PSF) modelling software. Using either a simple bivariate Gaussian, PSFex, or Zernike Moments. Can model flux distributions in the image, or create a uniform flux distribution across an apparent magnitude range for a given pixel scale and exposure time. Using the modelled PSF and flux distribution can then inject a given number of fake sources into a supplied fits file. Can create a catalogue, listing x,y,flux(, mag: optional)

Injections can be done in a number of ways:

Random placement
Fixed Grid
Recreate an image with noise
Chosen placement as either: direct injection, no noise injection, or fake noise injection.
Can be used to make synthetic photometric data for mock transient hunting, image subtraction tests and other image manipulation testing.

4.1.0

Entirely Fake data can now be designed. This is still very basic, but does not require any input data.

Improvements:

* Better noise modelling
* Insert more complex PSF models

3.0.1

Point Spread Function (PSF) modelling software. Using either a simple bivariate Gaussian, PSFex, or Zernike Moments. Can model flux distributions in the image, or create a uniform flux distribution across an apparent magnitude range for a given pixel scale and exposure time. Using the modelled PSF and flux distribution can then inject a given number of fake sources into a supplied fits file. Can create a catalogue, listing x,y,flux(, mag: optional)

Injections can be done in a number of ways:
- Random placement
- Fixed Grid

- Chosen placement as either: direct injection, no noise injection, or fake noise injection.

Can be used to make synthetic photometric data for mock transient hunting, image subtraction tests and other image manipulation testing.

2.0.0

Point Spread Function (PSF) modelling software. Using either a simple bivariate Gaussian, PSFex, or Zernike Moments. Can model flux distributions in the image, or create a uniform flux distribution across an apparent magnitude range for a given zero point. Using the modelled PSF and flux distribution can then inject a given number of fake sources into a supplied fits file. Can create a catalogue, listing x,y,flux(, mag: optional)

Can be used for mock transient hunting, image subtraction tests.

1.1.0

Using the modeled PSF and flux distribution can then inject a given number of fake sources into a supplied fits file. Can create a catalog, listing x,y,flux(, mag: optional)

Can be used for mock transient hunting, image subtraction tests.

1.0.5

Point Spread Function (PSF) modelling software. Using either a simple bivariate Gaussian, or PSFex.
Can model flux distributions in the image, or create a uniform flux distribution across an apparent magnitude range for a given exposure time and pixel size.
Using the modeled PSF and flux distribution can then inject a given number of fake sources into a supplied fits file.
Can create a catalog, listing x,y,flux(, mag: optional)

Can be used for mock transient hunting, image subtraction tests.
