REASON: ``setup.py`` becomes DEPRECATED in 2023-09 for newer ``pip`` versions.

DEVELOPMENT:

* VCS: Renamed default branch of Git repository to "main" (was: "master").
* CI: Use github-actions as CI pipeline.
