A quick preview of some of the functions ported/added:
- `configure_defaults`: configures the default values for various common parameters.
- `configure_lens_set_file`: configures the path where we store information about the hutch's lens set
- `calc_distance_for_size`: calculate the lens distance from the sample required to get a specific spot size
- `plan_set`: a tool to help plan which lenses to install for an experiment
