Trying to trigger Zenodo to generate a DOI for this repository.

- Expanded documentation in readme.md

- Lint the codebase
- CI pipeline to test against `Kowalski`'s master
- A more forgiving `TimeoutHTTPAdapter `
- (Re-)implemented `Kowalski.api` method for calling any endpoint on Kowalski
