Fixed the bug in is_supported() -- now it calls Simplify.

Shows where 100% coverage gets you :-)

Also cleaned up a lot of code, and increased test coverage to almost 100%

This should not have broken any code already using it.

There is now a deprecation error if you use the "Convert" instead of "convert".

Added conversion without explicit type declaration
