Fixed a typo bug in the handler for the `get` operation

Reworked the handler interface, added tests for it, and some documentation in the README.md.

Added atomic counter increment.

Prototypes now support only Python objects as values, not objects or types. That was confusing and unnecessary.

Updated README.

Fixed a bug in calculated values.

Introducing prototypes and lot's more tests.
