Nearly four years have passed since the 0.9.x releases, and almost all of the code has been rewritten, so the changes are various and many.

Drake binary releases incorporate a pre-compiled version of [SNOPT](https://ccom.ucsd.edu/~optimizers/solvers/snopt/) as part of the [Mathematical Program toolbox](https://drake.mit.edu/doxygen_cxx/group__solvers.html). Thanks to Philip E. Gill and Elizabeth Wong for their kind support.

This release contains the new Drake Visualizer for all distributions and alleviates the need for an install script.

The included `install.sh` script must be run once from the final installation directory before using the software.

An example install procedure is as follows:

Notes:
The minimum version of OS X needed for the Mac version is 10.10
The Windows release was tested on Windows 8.1 64-bit with MATLAB R2013a
