Vesper

Adds preloading of clip pages to clip albums. A clip album now loads the clips of the pages before and after the current page in advance of their (possible) display. If the clips of a page all load before the user navigates to it, the transition to the new page is effectively instantaneous.

Improves the efficiency of several database queries and reduces the initial load time of clip albums, especially large ones (e.g. containing thousands of clips).

This version of Vesper is the first to require user logins for operations that modify the archive, in order to track which user performed which modification. It is also the first version to maintain annotation edit histories. This information is not yet exposed in the user interface, however.

After the initial load of a clip album, loading of new pages of clips within the album is still slower than desirable. This issue will be addressed in the next release of Vesper.

This release of the Vesper web app is the first that is recommended for daily use. Use of the Vesper desktop app (i.e. Vesper 0.1.x) is now deprecated for new archives.

Adds classification and data export.

The Vesper web app now includes essentially all of the functionality of the desktop app, with only a few minor omissions. Some performance issues remain, and these will be addressed soon.
