The main new feature of the second beta is that one can give comment only access to a document. Read only access existed before, but is only now working in the 3.0 branch.

This release has seen some small fixes to the installation procedure. The changes make development easier.

This version includes all the main features planned for version 3.0.0.

Citations that render as footnotes can be handled again. With this all currently known bugs have been fixed.

After some more testing, this may be near Fidus Writer 3.0 beta 1.

This version is relatively stable.
