[Robot Framework](http://robotframework.org/) 7.0.1 is the first and the only planned bug fix release in the Robot Framework 7.0.x series. It fixes all reported regressions as well as some issues affecting also earlier versions. The only bigger enhancement it contains is the new Japanese [localization](https://robotframework.org/robotframework/latest/RobotFrameworkUserGuide.html#localization) (5069).

[Robot Framework](https://robotframework.org) 7.0 is a new major release with enhanced listener interface (#3296), native `VAR` syntax for creating variables (3761), support for mixing embedded and normal arguments with library keywords (4710), JSON result format (4847) and various other enhancements and bug fixes.
