Robot Framework 7.0 alpha 1 was released on Thursday November 9, 2023. It is especially targeted for external tool developers for testing how [backwards incompatible changes](https://github.com/robotframework/robotframework/blob/master/doc/releasenotes/rf-7.0a1.rst#backwards-incompatible-changes) and [deprecations](https://github.com/robotframework/robotframework/blob/master/doc/releasenotes/rf-7.0a1.rst#deprecations) possibly affect their tools. We can still make adjustments or even revert problematic changes before the final release.
